Of the 100th post

Wanted to blog about my friend's engagement on saturday, but instead, as i logged into blogger, i see that this is my 100th post already.. hey, i'm entering into 3figures.. has it really been that many posts?

It all began when i blogged about The Airport as i sent off my wife to Perth while i drifted back home to return to Changi in 7 days.. that was 09 Jul 2006..

since there, the World Cup came and gone, with Italy winning it but the headbutt gaining even more news time..Midway through July.. a war broke out in Lebanon, many died, many more became homeless.. i wonder how they are doing now..

In August 06.. we were all preparing for the BIG IMFWB.. but i also had time to catch this emo-movie, Click.. its one of those shows that make me look back and bring on the emotions.. this show managed to push pass normal threshold..

Come Sept, we were all busy with IMF.. and i had to serve my reservist in a newly set up unit.. lots of grey areas and everything was very much gut-feel decisions.. the fact that my wisdom tooth acted up on me during this period sucked even more.. but i wasn't going to neglect my PNSmen and go on MC during this critical period..

October was a month of remembering for me.. posted as Officer Cadet Trainee, ORD, Starting of New Work.. my wife getting her degree..

November.. i started another blog in another platform hoping to win something, the difference was i was bloggin to win, and win i did...

December, Saddam executed. No big deal? Look at the daily figures in Iraq.. soldiers die, militants die, civilian die.. its sucks

January 07.. new year.. new Hope? i did try to become a Steward.. don't think i'll go for anymore.. the tummy is bigger than before..

Feb came, found some tingle of satisfaction helping others excel at their work.. got a bit nostalgic remembering about the NPCC days too..

March oh march..realised how unhappy i really am.. but still i stuck around.. lousy.. Finally started my degree program after a one year delay.. school was alright, i coped well.. The greatest disappointment came in the form of a NSF which had a chance to grow but instead took the easy way out.. "to the kid i scoff: Lessons are learnt the hard way boy, pity, i won't bother to share no more"

Month of April.. finally got my laptop. Civil Servant pay rise was no rise at all, donated blood again and so much more

May 07(current).. a lot of football as its the end of season period.. Arsenal went out of all competitions.. 4th placing in EPL.. FA Cup Final and Champions League Final to watch, friend's engagement: Check, Cousin's wedding: coming this Saturday..

Of Spiderman 3

Caught the Spiderman 3 movie with my 2 great pals on Wednesday night, quite a long while since we gathered for a movie..

For those who are familiar, the 3rd series mainly focuses on the Symbiote and Spiderman’s choice, yes, that black black thing that sticks to people, it has a name..

Between the compassionate hero and new-found powers.. he has to choose..

Background check:
Symbiote(fictional) are alien organism that needs to attach itself to a host in order to survive.. in return, the host’s personality is enhanced as the symbiote feeds off the adrenaline from it host’s actions.. resulting normally in rash acts that are generally negative

So so.. if you had this symbiote hidden in your closet.. Would you use it one day? At the expense of losing your “self”, you get superpowers and stay anonymous(who can traced you when you have a black sticky substance covering your prints?)


Surely there has been a time which you felt powerless or hope you had the strength and courage to do something right in a wrong way? Like how Peter Parker so wanted to kill the man who murder his Uncle Ben?

Of Milan VS Manchester

Once more, the titans of football clashed again in the 2nd leg of the Champions League Semi-finals.. the 1st leg was a pulsating match which ended 3-2 in Man Utd's favour.

The final scored at the end read AC Milan 3-0 Manchester United, and the Italians go through on a 5-3 aggregate.. so what went wrong?

On a night where the best of English and Italian football was to be showcased, the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick all failed to deliver the goods..

Ronaldo, fresh off the awards stage and full of promise looked more like a schoolboy playing with kids, he ran and ran at the milan defenders, but each time, he tumbled easily and could hardly get a proper pass through.. not to mention the freekicks at he slammed into the milan floor each time he had a chance..

Fletcher and Carrick, England hopefuls, look lost when they had possession and after an effective Milan covered the angles and keep it tight.. they were lost sheep in the lush greenery of Milan..

An cripple midfield, a wet wet first half and an excellent performance by Milan.. and so deservingly, the scoreline reads 3-0
