Arsed

Celtic 3-1 defeat at the Emirates to take the aggregrate score to 5-1 was marred by claims of dive on Eduardo to win the penalty that resulted in the first goal..

Did Eduardo dive?

The winning teams of the past season had accusations of diving too, Cristinano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba.. is Arsenal getting close to winning something this season?

Champions draw was lucky on Arsenal, unlucky for fans who want to view a better game, but that'll all come when we enter the final stages of the competition.

TIll then, lets gun down Man Yoo

Of MRT Ride I

The daily morning ride in the mrt gives a good opportunity to people, especially so as standing for over 18mins provides a bird's eye view to my surrounding, except for the fact that there are other birds standing around..haa

Today, a pram was parked before with while a mother had her daugher sitting on her lap in the priority seat. The girl must be around 4-5 years old, her language ability and mannerism impressive. Mummy was guiding daughter in completing a workbook where one had to draw the other half as a mirror image to complete the picture (think half of a spade shape waiting to be filled, half a house, half a face etc)..

What impressed me was the mummy's patient in guiding and also how she allowed the child to have space to experiment and attempt at making the shape out first, when help was needed, mummy step in but didn't take over fully, holding on to her small gentle hands, the pencil was guided to form a closer likeliness to what the exercise required..

What stood out in today's observation was something that the daugher did without asking. When drawing the other half of a door to a house, she instinctively added a door knob to the door. Now that was not required as the exercise requires draw out the mirror image of the door, just a simple outline will suffice, but this young lady was inventive enough to decide that a door needed a knob.

Here comes the question, did the mother correct her daughter for adding the door knob or not? Would she be right to correct her daughter?

More in the next post.

Of Everton 1-6 Arsenal

Well well well, the English Premiership Season 09/10 got off yesterday, with Chelsea beginning their campaign against Hull lead by their cunt-manager.. pardon the language, its as mild as it can be..

But who cares about Chelsea or the fact that Man City managed 2 goals and 3 points in their first game since their inflated their squad with 10 strikers?

It was ARSENAL that steal the show! Playing away at Goodison Park, arsenal was facing a team just 1 place below us in the season before and looking to proof our mantle since selling Adebayor and Toure to the oil money of Man City..

I guess the game pretty much shows how much we miss those two.. 1-6 could have been 0-7, 0-8.. but i could be anything..

Prof Wenger stuck to his new formation and it all look fluid in the league, with the ball moving well and possession play opening up space for players..

What pleased me more this time around was the players were so much more willing to shoot at goal and set-pieces seemed to worked better now!

Denilson opened the game with a nicer curl shot from outside the box after a slow-motion bendtner with his new no.52 beat everton defenders in slow motion and fed it to fabregas.. fab was instantly closed down by some 3 players and he released the ball to the oncoming denilson who's right footed sweep curled the ball into the net, 1-0 to arsenal!

New signing Thomas Vermaelen looked happy to jump into the box and i found him looking silly as he jumped into the net following a corner, but he refused to be laughed at and his jumping abilities proved useful when he was at the end of a van persie free-kick to make it 2-0.. what a first half this is becoming! Vermaelen's counterpart was not to be overshone and Gallas, one of the shortest on the field, rose well to a fabragas freekick to make it 3-0 before the break..

Wenger must have said nice things in the dressing room, 3 mins into the second half and a flowing move saw Van Persie cutting the ball in for Fabregas to finish in true arsenal fashion.. Fab was not done as he had enough time and space to dribble half the pitch and lash a shot at goal just outside the box as non of the everton defenders closed down on him.. 5-0 it was with 2 goals from Captain Fab.. the rout was completed late into the game when Ashravin hit the ball from a seemingly impossible angle to strike the post and Eduardo was first to tap in one of the easiest goal he will score in the league! 6-0 to arsenal!!!

Not wanting to disappoint the home fans who was witnessing the onslaught by the team that everyone discounted, everton was allowed to score a consolation and 6-1 it was..

We rock, Go Gunners!

The boss said we needed 82 points this season to win the league, thats another 79 to go from the remaining 37 games, here we go~
