Of Moneys nos enoughs
Taxi fares are up, Ramly burger is now 2.80 at the pasar malam that just ended near my place, the chicken rice store near my home steals an entire slice of breast meat when i order half a chicken, Carrefour chicken is now 5.90 and Hougang's ah Beng western food is now $1 more expensive for its hot plate steak and $2 more for its mixed grill..
Cost of living continues to rise, but my wages is the same.. still have no idea if i will get bonus or not and how much i will get, and on top of that, its pro-rated.. damn..
Lets see what else is going to rise.. I'm sure bus fares will increase next year to keep themselves within reach of rising cab fares.. make more people take public transport yeah?
All this while, it seems like our dear top class government will millions worth of salaries is keeping quiet.. maybe they saw this coming and increase their pay some months ago..
One highly paid minister commented to our shit news some weeks ago that people should learn to cope with increasing cost of items by choosing cheaper alternatives.. that means you lower your standard of living to cope with inflation.. wow.. we pay him so much to tell us this crap.. so if u used to take cab, you should take bus now.. if you take bus like me.. how? cheaper alternate? walk please.. saves the planet from fuel emission also
Enough rantings, PAP sucks.. they are great at dealing with the world and signing all the POWERFUL agreements with other people and attracting foreign talent.. but please please.. learn to take good care of the people(not the rich ones by reducing income tax) and do something for the man on the street that is suffering from increase in food price, the newly wed who struggle with inflated cost of flats and cost of living and having a child, the old folks who are playing their medical bills with their CPF and yet cannot properly withdraw their CPF because they are not old enough..
